Datus donates to a Childrens home |
The Founder, like
any other philanthropist, was guided and motivated by the philosophy
of sharing whatever he had with the needy, hence the name, “DATUS”
which means, “GIVING”. Even though he is no more, the school continues
to continue the legacy he left behind by making donations some
groups in the society. |

It pays to be Helpful
Once upon a time, there lived a boy called Kwame. He
came from a very poor home. One day, when he came from school, there
was no food in the house. He went and played with his friends under
a mango tree. They plucked some of the mangoes and ate. They then
saw an old woman carrying a heavy load. Kwame asked his friends to
help the old woman. His friends ignored him. Kwame went and carried
the load to the old woman’s house. The old woman was very grateful
and she gave Kwame a bowl of fufu and palm soup. She took Kwame home
and told his parents what Kwame had done. She sponsored a ten-year
scholarship for Kwame to study abroad.
Kwame’s friends regretted for not being helpful. From that day on
they tried to be helpful.
